Tina is the current president-elect of the Real Estate Staging Association. She serves on several committees to educate other stagers and grow the business. “My alignment with this board has given me the opportunity to share and receive ideas and stay current on the latest trends in furniture, art, home accessories and real estate.”

 

Over the years, Tina and her team of seven, have personally selected and purchased one-of-a-kind items that are located at her 4000 square-foot warehouse in Livonia. “I have a well-stocked collection of treasures,” Tina said. “This includes everything from artwork and lamps to accessories and various unique pieces.” Tina leads her business with honesty and education. She has the ability to create inviting spaces that show off its features while establishing a mood for potential buyers to visualize a future home.

 

Tina originally got into the home staging business after helping a family member sell their home. “The house had been lived in for over 20 years without any significant updates,” Tina recalled. “Without actually realizing I was staging their home, I began to get it ready to sell. I’ve always had an eye for decorating and I’ve re-done several of my own residences.” After Tina completed her work on the house, the broker saw the finished product and immediately insisted that Tina stage all of her future listings.

 

“I love seeing the pleasant surprise on the sellers face after we’ve staged their home,” Tina said. “Seeing the before and after pictures makes me feel very proud, as well as  the positive feedback we get from the homeowners and real estate agents. Ultimately, the most rewarding thing of all is when the home sells.”

 

While Tina understands the object of staging is to flatter a property, she is acutely aware that every customer is unique.
